Applying to the Program
CEEP supports two graduate programs in the energy and environmental policy field: a Master of Energy and Environmental Policy (MEEP); and a Ph.D. in Energy and Environmental Policy (Ph.D./ENEP). Both programs are administered by CEEP.
The 36-credit Master of Energy and Environmental Policy (MEEP) has a 21 credit core curriculum and 15 elective credits. The Ph.D. in Energy and Environmental Policy (Ph.D./ENEP) has three components: a 21 credit core curriculum, the development of a research area and the dissertation proposal involving at least 24 credit hours; and the writing of the dissertation.

The ENEP degrees are directly administered by CEEP with the support of five colleges at the University: Agriculture and Natural Resources, Arts and Science, Business and Economics, Engineering (where CEEP is housed), Earth, Ocean and Environment. The degrees are intended for individuals who wish to focus their graduate programs on interdisciplinary study of the field of energy and environmental policy. A three-credit science, engineering and public policy proficiency is required in the ENEP degrees.
The deadline for applications to the ENEP programs is February 15. A completed admission application and all credentials must be submitted by the program deadline to guarantee consideration for financial aid.
